# Add Commissions to a Quote

Add commissions to a quote based on the sales rep assigned to the quote.

From the Reports & Financials options, select "Commissions."

**Add Commission**

To add a commission, enter:

**Name**: Name of the commission

**Type**: Commission type

**No** **Commission**: No commission is added to the quote.

**Add** **Commission**: The commission is calculated based on the Total Price of the quote and then added to the quote.

**Commission** **Percentage**: The percentage that is used to calculate the commission.

 

**Assign Commission to User**

First, navigate to your user list:

Then, edit the user and select the commission that should be used for that user.

**Apply Commission to Quote**

When a Sales Rep is assigned to a quote, the commission structure that is assigned to the Sales Rep will be applied to the quote.

The commission will be displayed on the line item.
