Multipliers are a factor that determines the time of an operation.   Let’s discover what a multiplier is with examples.    1\. In this example, the multiplier for the “Run Time” and “Setup” calculators for a bend operation by default is 1. The time and cost of the operation is calculated by multiplying each calculator by multiplier.   ![](https://help.secturafab.com/hubfs/Knowledge%20Base%20Import/20751812306331.png)     2\. Editing the multiplier increases the time associated with the operation, thus increasing the cost. ![](https://help.secturafab.com/hubfs/Knowledge%20Base%20Import/20751858348571.png)   3\. Select “Operation Rules” from the navigation menu.   ![](https://help.secturafab.com/hubfs/Knowledge%20Base%20Import/20751825964827.png)   3\. Input the name and description of the operation. The “Result” input for this example is 1. Enter the expression or condition of the rule. In this example, any part over 35lbs must have an additional operator.
