# Set Up a Price Book

Price books can change the cost or price of an item based on location or rule.

This is often used where locations have different costs for the same service or product. 

 

 

1. Select the Settings gear. Then choose “Costs” from the Preferences & Costs options.

       2. Select the material line item and choose “Edit.”

       3. Select a price book from the dropdown or enter the name to create a new price book.

       5. From a new quote, you may select the price book in “Parameters.”
